I have a turn signal problem, you have to push in on lever on the right side to get the signal to work. The left one works but the instrument indicator does not. I have not found the screws that my manual says to take off to pull the wheel off. The chilton and haynes manuals always seem a little vague I would appreciate some info on removal, I want check the switch out. The car is a 1993 grand prix 3.1. This car is pretty basic with no frills.
Thanks trave.

Welcome to AF!!

If you don't have an air bag then the process is fairly simple. If you have an air bag you will need to disable the system before removing it. Once you get to the point of removing the wheel then you will need two tools. A steering wheel puller and a lock plate depresser. Hold the wheel and remove the nut, after the retaining nut is off you will need the steering wheel puller to pull the wheel itself. After the wheel is off you will need to use the lock plate depressor to remove the locking plate and clip to get to the switch underneath. Hope this helps.
