Fog Light Elect Connector

Hi, I have a 97 GP GT 3.8 112,000 and my Passenger side fog light electrical connector is corroded to the point to where I need to replace it. I've tried using electric connector cleaner but to no avail. I'm still getting a connection but the light comes and goes due to the corrosion. Any suggestions on how to replace this connector? The only thing that comes to mind is to get another one and splicing it into the existing wiring but I'm not sure which would be the best procedure. Also where would I be able to aquire a new connector without having to go through the dealership? Thanks for any info..

Re: Fog Light Elect Connector

The AC Delco part number for the fog lamp connector is PT331. IT comes with about 16" of wire, and the crimp connectors to splice it in. Dealer retail is $25.40. If you have a Delco distributor in you area, you could pick it up much cheaper from them by not paying dealer mark-up.
