Are they illegal if they are red? cause when i got pulled over for speeding the cop just had to "mention" after that my licence plate lights are illegla but ive never heard of that being illegal...is it legal for any of u guys, im from canada but it seems all the legalness is mostly the same...

in some states (like pa as i was informed by a state trooper) certain colored lights are reserved for municipal use only...like blue(fire department) red(police) etc...

I believe blue, red, and green are always illegal. In some places every color of neons are illegal cause of it being distracting.

dammit, its my goddam licence plate lights..they aren't neon at all just normal red under my red tail lights...i hate the law :(
