I don't see much where I shop. BTW, anyone care to put up a pic of a 1/43 car next to a "matchbox" size car. (1/59 or 1/60, IIRC) I'm not even sure I know how big those are, but your keyboard is a decent reference. I haven't even heard of 1/32 scale before. ales 08-16-2001, 02:33 PM A cute little Shell bear. Got it for free... http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/492552bear2.jpg Jay! 08-16-2001, 02:34 PM Originally posted by ales A cute little Shell bear. Messed it up quite a bit. The first one I built. Will be getting F1-2000 from Tamiya next http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/991802F310B.jpg ales 08-16-2001, 02:45 PM ales 08-16-2001, 02:58 PM A dozen of old models that I got "creative" upon as a child. Need rebuilding :( http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/158915box-o-cars.jpg ales 08-16-2001, 03:02 PM And a couple of misc 1:43-s and I'm done with pics :) Police Suzuki Vitara to be: http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/477799Vitara.jpg ZIL-115: http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/881832zil-115.jpg Ford Focus WRC (sort of to be:)) http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/694190Focus.jpg Guiddy 08-16-2001, 04:53 PM Originally posted by Silver S2000 BTW, anyone care to put up a pic of a 1/43 car next to a "matchbox" size car. I can put one up to a 1/24 scale, is that good enough? I can even do two of a kind!:D The Lancer on the right is 1/24 scale, the Lancer on the left is a Provence Moulage 1/43rd Resin model. Guiddy 08-16-2001, 04:57 PM While I was there I photographed a few more 1/43rds... A favourite of mine, the Lancia Fulvia. This was the first classic kit I had ever done in this scale, and I love the fact it has so many little features like the spot lights and the tow hooks etc. It has a detailed interior too with roll cage, switches, radios etc... Guiddy 08-16-2001, 04:58 PM Another shot... Guiddy 08-16-2001, 05:01 PM And one of the ultimates in 1/43rd scale, a Le Mans Miniatures Peugeot 905. This was bought built and was very expensive! Beautiful kit though, and so much detail! It has helmet telecom leads, full chassis and engine detail, seat belts, removable panels, carbon fibre decalling, etc.etc... RCer 08-17-2001, 01:18 AM Hey Alex, seems like you got the hole Shell Ferrari collection. I got a few cars from a promotion Shell did on my country, but my kid got thru them in a few months, I only could save the 500 F2, wich is over my monitor right now. There was a nice F50, I think 1/24th or 1/18th. I got it, but you know the story, the kid played with it and... BTW,Did you saw Schumi driving one of those cars few weeks ago? Not exactly the 500, I think it was the previous year car (1951). But it was almost the same. ales 08-17-2001, 04:38 AM No, I did not get the whole collection, but they still have some cars that they give when you accumulate anough points on the Shell card. I talked my girlfriend into getting the card :) :) :) Yes, I have seen Michael ... MBTN 08-17-2001, 11:20 AM here are some of mine, I need more! Guiddy 08-18-2001, 01:21 PM Like the Boxter! I know it's not an S2000, but I don't know what it is... ;) Wait, it's a Porsche, right? Like James Dean's? http://www.plauder-smilies.de/verlegen.gif S Brake 09-03-2001, 04:42 PM isn't that silver one a Boxster? if so than we have 3 of the same models MBTN, the F50, Viper and boxster. Guiddy 09-03-2001, 05:37 PM It was the red car at the back I thought was an S2000, but it is obviously a Viper!
