Midget Crunch

How hard is it to do bodywork on a 72 midget? Is it easier to get new panels, or can old ones be worked with?

I'm getting a 72 Miget with some rear end damage (back panel, trunk lid, tail lights) for $600 with 61,000 miles on it. It has been 70% restored and i did not want to see it junked. Too fun to drive.
