Weatherstripping replacement

Hi,

I just bought a 1994 Coupe, with the removable targa glass roof. The weather stripping is pretty much completely shot around the windshield/targa roof. (leaks water pretty badly). I see I can get a replacement set of seals for around $400.

Is this something that I should be willing to tackle myself, or should I let my mechanic do it? I guess you only get one shot to get it right when installing it, but it just seems like something that shouldn't be overly difficult to do myself.

thoughts?
