GOT your attention? Now, I just checked out the Mitsubishi website, and I put together the total best package that they sell for the new 2002 Lancer. What I saw was horrendous, these cars are only going to put out 120 horsepower!?!?! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE. I probably sound like a moron, but I thought that they would at least have the slower ones at the 175 hp range, and yes i know about the other model coming out in 2003 with 285 hp but still, why would they begin marketing with such a horrible output....any input on this situation would be great, because subaru just gained my attention, at least they do it halfway decent.

heh, thats the regular lancer buddy

the evo is much better....hey guys..but like...if regular lancer costs 14k then the evo shouldnt be overwhelmingly expensive....put 12k in at....and its 26k buwhahhaa..so theres no way evo is gonne cost more than 30k...i think :P:bandit:

no, the Evo is basically a completely new car. EVERYTHING is replaced for the Evos, except the unibody from the lancer (whatever that is.) The Engine, transmission, suspension, most of the body panels (think the roof, doors, and trunk are left intact...thats it), the headlights, electronics, interior, everything, I mean EVERYTHING is replaced or altered in some way. The Evo is always overwhelmingly more expensive than the normal lancer. 26k is possible, but probably a fairly low estimate.

Blowoff,

The Lancer that is coming out is just a regular base model. Like in Japan the Lancer Cedia it there base models. every companys has one. Like The toyota Corrola, Honda Civic, Mazda Protege, Nissan Sentra
and The Lancer just replaces the Mirage.. Its in the level of cars called Compact cars. Its not a sports sedan. Thats how it is. hahaha
