Wink baja bug

baja bugs are made for the sand... the love bug was a racing bug... kind of an oxymoron when you think about it.....anyways, baja bugs have the engine compartment open from the back with big exhaust and chrome parts... well, mine are chrome.

Wish I had $8000 with nothing serious to spend them on, unfortunately, the Corrado eats my money.

How many hours have you put into that car?

it took about 2 years to make it the way that i wanted it pretty much starting from scratch. Then i've continued to improve and modify since last november... it turned out great though... there are some old pics of it on www.nationalshowcars.com under the years that include '68... if you know anybody interested, please let them know. I'd really like to have something else to drive back and forth between college and home next year.

P.s. got any pics of your corrado?

The car looks very nice; it’s this, right?

You could try the Classifieds at VWVortex, http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeromain?id=7

I haven't done much yet, saving up money right now.
But since I had some money left after buying it [Cars are cheap in Germany], I bought some nice wheels/coilovers and a nice sound system.

Wow, that is a nice Beetle. I had no clue that was used for sand. Does it run any races in the sand like the Paris-Dakar?

Deakins, if you want pictures of your car, bring it by... as you can see all I really do is take photos of my car...lol

How much did those tires on the Baja cost? I had similar tires on my montero for Paris Dakar and they ran me 850 dollars a piece...
