Unhappy Noisy drivetrain, Please help

I have a 97 cavalier z24 and I have a real problem. My left front drive train has a clunk that is speed related regardless of turning or not. It causes a vibration that you can feel in the floor and to a lesser degree the clutch and brake pedals and steering wheel. I have changed out the half shaft and a brake job but neither helped. I think it is my wheel bearing but I have been told by a fellow cavalier owner that the bearings are all on the halfshaft but to me, that just doesn't sound right. If anyone else knows what is going on please help!

Bad strut? Bad strut mount? Bad lower control arm bushings?

Smile Re: Noisy drivetrain, Please help

As my suspition told me, there is the bearing in the wheel hub assembly. I replaced that and no more noise! I am no longer emberessed to give someone else a ride in my car and I don't need to worry about when it will break down finally!
