hi I've recently noticed a knocking sound around rear wheel, after some advice I renewed rear shocker but to no avail its only noticeable when turning right and sound is from left rear I'm in the uk so its a right hand drive anybody got any idea's before I renew something else I don't need to :banghead: cheers garry
ps for some reason this sound only appears at low speeds

We fixed a e46 with a knocking sound from the left rear.
We tested first by him driving by me in a parking lot, then we took the car to my house and we put it in the air and removed the wheel and checked for anything out of the norm. I noticed the brake pads moving around. We found out, just before he purchased the car a brake job had been done and they turned the rotor. It was too thin and we replaced the rotor. No more problem.

sorted it was rear anti roll bar bushes that had failed took into garage cheers for all the help
