Replacing coil plugs and wires?

I have a 97 escort and when I first start it the idle is erratic especially when I’m rolling my windows up or down or turning the wheel, and sometimes the car also stalls out when I first start it. When the car has been running when I come to a stop the idle is still a bit erratic.

I read it up in the threads and I have decided to replace the coil plugs and wires. I am going to buy an Accel coil but I’m not sheer what brands I should be looking at for the plugs and wires.

Another thing is I herd that the aftermarket coil will give me a little more hp and better fuel mileage I am not really looking to soup up my car I just wont it to run better than it has been. I was just a bit curious about the coil and if it will improve mileage and extra hp is always appreciated lol

Thanks for all the help
