1966 Ford mustang dash help

i was wondering if someone could tell me if the dash on a mustang goes under the windshield. I was wanting to replace mine and wanted to know if it went under the windshield.

Thanks, Convertedchevyman

You've probably solved this problem by now, but what do you mean "under the windshield"? If you're talking about the dashpad, it slides between the windshield and the metal dash frame. There are two trim pieces that fit at the edge of the pad and windshield with screws to hold them in.
