Actually, I'm confused! My '88 Caravan 2.5L has two colored primary wires to the coil. One is yellow & black and the other is green & black. Can somebody with the same car check their coil to see what wire is attached to (+) and which to (-)? Also, I need to know which side (positive or negative) the external resistor goes on.

Any help will be well appreciated.

Thanks for the link to the wiring diagrams. I paid for AllDataDIY info and, as far as I know, they do not have the wiring diagrams. (AllData is owned by Autozone, too.) I will use your link many, many times.
