'00 std trans brg noise

have a '00 with a 5spd, when cold get a (sounds like) a bearing growl, seems like coming from trans area, and goes away after few minutes warming up (doesn't matter if clutch in / out), anyone have same problem ?....throw out brg possibly ??, let me know.

I have a '04 SXT with a 5-spd... same exact problem. But, also when it is cold, my clutch engagement is sluggish as hell between gears before everything locks back up the way it should. When it's warm, I have no squeeks and I can bark the tires all day long between gears. From what I can tell, it probably is my throwout bearing. Maybe the same problem you are having...
