Departing for the Navy on June 23rd
I'll be leaving to go to boot camp in the Navy on June 23rd. I've been conditioning myself to run the whopping mile and a half that they require.
Just letting you dudes know why you won't be seeing me on here for awhile.
With any luck, i'll sell my car before I depart.

Re: Departing for the Navy on June 23rd
I won't say goodbye as of yet just because you won't be leaving for about another 2 months, but that's a big step in life to join the Navy. You have my praise for doing such a noble thing.
Good luck with selling the car. What other requirements do you have to meet other than running a mile and a half?

Re: Departing for the Navy on June 23rd
I had no idea you where thinking of a career in the armed forces. Conditioning for the mile and a half shouldnt be that hard as long as they run it at or near to sea level. good luck in the exams.
oh and your lucky your last name isnt "stains"
other wise you'd be "Seamen Stains"
you still gonna come by FL anytime soon?

Why do you want to be a squid, mang?
You'll never hear the end of it from the jarheads: Squid: 'lower form of Marine life'. LOL
j/k
Have fun out there, and hit up a few bars overseas in our name...make sure you stock up on condoms beforehand... (seriously).
Oh, and welcome to the Armed Forces extended family.

Re: Departing for the Navy on June 23rd
My friend who was recently discharged wants me to tell you:
"Just because you pass the initial 2 drug tests, don't smoke up in celebration, because there is a 3rd round that they don't tell you about."
He got booted, and came back to no house, no car, no job. Yeah, he's worthless like that.
Anyway, good luck and be safe.
