I was merging onto the freeway, after videotaping some runs for a few buddies. While trying to catch up to them some idiot in an SUV cuts in front of me. I say whatever, and just try to make out where they are. They speed off quickly, and I try to go in the other freeway merging lane to get around the P.O.S. SUV that I can barely see around (I believe it was a Denali). The fucker sees that I want to pass him, so he goes into both lanes. Now, i'm usually a pacifist, but fucking with me on purpose and doing so while almost hitting my car will lead to a fist fight. Anyways, I zig zag back and forth, as does he. I see open lanes up ahead, so I mat it, to cut to an empty lane. He deliberately runs into the lane, so I went over another lane, and he followed. He comes literally inches from hitting my car, and swerves from right to left, trying to hit my car with all the force he can get from his SUV, but I luckily managed to pass his soccer mom mobile.

I believe they should make this a felony conviction, as he would've most likely made me crash into a barrier, and oncoming traffic, had he succeeded. I would've gotten his license plate, but I couldn't see my buddies, and I didn't know if he had any passengers.

It's no wonder people have guns in their cars with some of these SUV owners in California. This is twice now that i've seen an SUV used as a weapon on the road.

Earlier today, driving mom's Pathfinder I was with a buddy waiting to make a right turn onto a freeway onramp. I had to wait for oncoming traffic to turn left on to the ramp, there's a old asian dude on the corner waiting to cross the street/ramp entrance. So when the light goes green for me the old dude goes to cross, so like a good motorist I wait.

This dude in a Daewoo starts honking. I look at him in my rearview mirror all pointing at the old guy going "wtf?!" I start laughing like wtf is this guys problem. My friend turns around, and gives the guy two hands worth of fingers... then the guy starts pumping his fist up and down giving us the finger and then pointing at us like we're in trouble.

By now I'm able to go... and I just motor up the ramp like normal, he tried to keep up but his Deawoo was having trouble keeping up with a 160hp SUV.

Was comedy.

Had I kept my composure I would've phoned my buddies ahead, whom had a video camera, and had them videotape the guy ramming my car. It would've been sweet to sue the everliving shit outta the asswipe, and I would be one step closer to getting the Poopra I want.

Now you've got me thinking of a 240Z though, with a 2JZGTE motor.

I would have called up my friends and followed his SUV till he got to whereever he was going, and then we would have confronted him and threatened him.

Why would you need an SUV at all if you don't go off-road. Even if it snows, get some snow tyres and drive slower. I really hate SUVs with a passion. They're useless on the roads, which the majority are 99.98% of the time. And they block your view of the car in front of you so you can't predict when to brake.

but as to suv's they are fun as hell on long trips, much more comfortable than the J30 is driving 10+ hours nonstop to orlando

but that's about it for suv's in my opinion, i don't think people need them for daily driving (they are like RV's in my opinion) and i don't see how people think they are a safer car.

idiot lady in a ford explorer sport suv runs a stop sign and runs OVER MY CAR
literally rolled over the hood and fenders. guess who drove home that day? ME! the SUV was totalled.

if you want to play the "safe" card, get a luxary vehicle like a grand marquis, towncar, q45, whatever is considered luxary nowadays.
and if you have a child, shut up about the "suv has more space" i grew up with my parents owning a 1980ish crown vic and had NO problems in putting strollers, baby crap, etc in there with me, or with me and my little brother. if you want space, get a freeking station wagon (dodge has a cool one out btw...) and be grateful when you take a sharp turn with the station wagon it doesn't roll over like the suv would.

Word...I don't think we owned a vehicle with more than two doors till I was like, 13. After that, my dad still had a two door sports car, and my mom had an Audi wagon. The only SUV we've ever owned was a MB ML430. That thing was fucking horrible on gas...I mean, I'm not fucking exagerating at all, you could literaly floor it on the highway and watch the needle drop.

+1. i had a wagon once b4 the sentra. thing was great for turning. the car never seemed like it would roll over even at the hardest of turning. mind you the hard turning was done in an empty parking lot.

when it comes to bush, i diddnt like the whole thing of him being an oil refinery o w/e in texas. that makes me think going into iraq was for oil. but idk, im not a super big supporter of him since the no child left behind thingy. he says u need this, will provide the funds, but never does. we have to cut classes and afterschool activities for that....
