Factory System or not....wallys99 08-14-2001, 06:43 PM Just got my 99' G20 Today! Best car I have ever driven, even better then the 98 Mercedes E430! I am an avid car stereo enthusiast. I had a Clarion head and 6 Infinity Reference Speakers run by 2 Kenwood Amps, 2 12" JL W3 woofers run by a lightning audio 500.2. I took all this out of my old car and I am wondering what to do. I think that the Bose System sounds pretty good for a factory system, and I was wondering if anyone has changed theirs and if so what did they do. I think if I was to do anything I would put in a Clarion Head Unit with JL speakers. If you people who have changed them, how much better did it sound? Was it worth it? Thanks for any info you have. Sleepy 08-15-2001, 03:10 PM i changed mine out went with a alpine mobile video head unit polk momo compontes front and rear with two 12 momo subs being ran by a mtx 1000 watt rms mono block amp and my compontes are being ran by a mtx 4 channel and a 10 disc changer bose is good but nothing compared to the polks i went ahead and replaced all my wirning because the wiring bose uses is different from a normal head unit and have it all hooked up with streetwires 5.0 zero noise rca's so no distortion from the rcas and a streetwires 1farad cap endfro 08-15-2001, 03:35 PM I definitely switched out my stock system.. heres what I have now.
