Problems with a 1980 L82

Does anybody out there know if there are any significant problems related to a 1980 Corvette L82? Anything that would seriously hamper buying one? And another thing what does the L82 actually mean? How is it so different from any other vette out there? all your input would be helpful thanks!

I really like the body style of the late C3's, it might be just me but I think it looks sexy . Well, I own a C4, I dont really know too much about C3's but I think L-82 is the engine code. Look at the mileage, and interior/exterior condition of the car, because they are kinda pricey to restore!!! Good Luck!
