Question iroc mods

hey i have just gotten my 1985 iroc z28 with a 305 in it it is all stock it has 220hp and of course i want more hp so what mods prices ect thanks for some help

Just from my experience with 305's, you might want to look at swapping it for a 350. seriously... I wouldn't bother dropping too much $$$ in that 305. I owned a '91 firebird with a 305 and it only ran a 16.5 1/4 stock. I have a friend with an '89 rs that had a 305... he swapped it for a 350 tpi and is now running in the 14's. However, if you keep the 305, go carbuerated with about a 600 or 650, you'll make more power than you would with TB, and get yourself a posi rear if you don't already have.
