Chevy Impala/SS HP Chip

Does anyone know if the "Chevy Impala/SS HP Chip" sold on ebay.com actually will work, because they claim it adds up to 20 HP, but I doubt it. Just want to hear you thoughts on this product.

Re: Chevy Impala/SS HP Chip

give me a link to it and I will tell you how much of a rip off it is, becasue there are many different "chips" that are on ebay that calim to give you horsepower, but they all are bullshit, and each one can cause a different problem to your car.

dont buy it, but if you want to know how bad of an idea it is, give me a link and i'll let you know what you would break if you installed it.

Re: Chevy Impala/SS HP Chip

yeah, dont waste your money, if you want real perofrmacne gains like that, that is actaully designed for your car, get a re-programmed PCM.

Pretty much any thing like that which you find on ebay, is crap and either doesnt give you any gains, or if it even does, is more likey to harm your engine than help it.

Thumbs up Re: Chevy Impala/SS HP Chip

I got a programer by hypertech and I havent had any problems with my SS my car is alot more agressive but my gas milage went down a little, that could be from my K&N intake. Good thing about the programer is you can set it back to stock when your ready just make sure EVERY time your reprograming your battery is fully charged.

Hope this helped you.
