Radio Auxtractorboy 04-20-2006, 12:56 PM I have a 2003 impala v6 3.4L . The radio is the stock am / fm with cd player and power amp in the trunk. I hate to have to keep changing CDs. So i am either going to have a notebook secured in the trunk, wired into the stereo or my palm pilot in the passenger cabin. I looked at the wiring in the factory manual. I did not see what I was looking for. I noticed one of the toggle buttons on the radio is marked cd / aux . I can switch the cd in and out with this while listening to the radio. My question is, is there an auxilliary connection on the radio ? or how could I connect up another audio device. ? JJ Newel 04-20-2006, 02:26 PM You could go to ebay.com and look at the pictures of the factory radios they have listed there and see if there is a connection in the back. tractorboy 04-20-2006, 03:27 PM great idea , thanks tractorboy 04-20-2006, 11:59 PM Ebay had a good picture of the back. Just has one group of wires. I am wondering if the cd player and the radio come apart after removing from the enclosure both are in. Oh well I guess i will have to take the rad out and see. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
