Exhaust leek

Ok here it is i have a exhaust leek from the passanger side of my car it sounds like a exhaust donut but when i took it apart i didnt see the donut thing but there is a spacer like thing between the manafold and the y pipe i was wondering what could be causing my leek i only hear it when i am giveing it gas and it is kinda loud an annoing

That's a gasket, yes gasket I know it sounds weird but that's what it is. Do you have aftermarket headers? They like to walk themselves loose after a while.

I dont know how long it has been leeking i just got the car and it was supose to have a bad head gasket and i was driveing home from where i got it from and it started to run just fine o ya it is a 88 camaro with eather a 305 or a 350 stock everything prety much

What's the 8th digit of the vin?

F = 305
8 (i think) = 350
