Re: New vid for ya
***scratches head*** Soak lifters in oil??? Why??? They're metal... it's not like a piece of bread in gravy. Don't get that part.... (lol.. bet you'd never imagine that.)

Re: New vid for ya
im guessing it would be better for them to be soaking while not being used than say, sitting on a counter collecting dust

Re: New vid for ya
it keeps the lifters from getting rusty, keeps everything lubbed up, keeps them clean. the list goes on, that's the best thing to do with your pushrods and lifters while they are not in action

Re: New vid for ya
you soak and rotate the lifters for a couple hours in oil before you install them so that when you put them in and run the motor everything is at least coated with oil. All the junk inside the lifter that is.

Re: New vid for ya
oh and wicked video dude. I know I asked this already but just in case...if you find that you have parts that you are selling let me know. Or if you know people. I still need lifters, fuel rails, belt drive accessories....just little crap....

Re: New vid for ya
I really don't have anything left over at this point.
Just some A/C stuff but I am pretty sure that is accounted for already.
I do put the videos together myself. I use Adobe Premeire Pro.
Since those are hydraulic lifters, soaking them in oil 'pumps' them up. That way when you first start the car, they are already fairly ready.
Exhaust is a 3" true duals set-up with x-pipe. Bullet mufflers at the rear.
