Oil Reccomendations

I have an 94 Evo II, and time for an oil change soon, what oil ratings and type do u guys reccomend? 10w-40?

Always use synthetic! Mobil 1 5w-30 is my choice for my non-turbo. but a 10w-50 Mobil 1 should do u just fine.

My standard recomendation is to use the oil that the owners manual says to use. Second don't change that type of oil, stay with it.

That's all that there is to it. 10W-40 is not the best choice but not too bad. Most cars call for 5W-30

its true...don't change the type of oil...it will be the best to use the same oil for your car...because different oil will be different to your engine..

AFAIK Ralliart uses 5W50 synthetic. I've run Castrol RS 10W60 up to now, but I have the feeling that this one is too thick for normal conditions. I changed to Valvoline's 5W50.
