Question The sunroof drains aren't blocked.....

Hi,

I've just bought an '87 Scirocco as a project, at £60 I thought it was worth the gamble. There is water collecting near the rear wheel arches in the luggage area.

Dropped the headlining down and cleared the drains out, the right rear had a slight blockage which I flushed through. Found that water was still dripping on to the headlining from the rear of the sunroof recess. There are five holes in a line going across the recess, can I use some grommets to block them off? Anyone any ideas please? Don't fancy hauling the roof out unless it is a last resort.......
