swaybar links bad already?

I have a 98 TSI and last fall I replaced the links in the front with OEM and now I am having the same problem... ball/cup are separating again.

What did I miss? I don't do any offroad or hard driving.

Not sure why they would seperate that early, since you don't go offroad at all. Im not sure but could it be possible that they sway bar links were the wrong size or something?

Hows the sway-bar to frame bushing, try to pull on one side of the sway bar (pull it over to the driverside just pull and push back and forth) does the sway bar move? If so you will need to replace the sway-bar mount bushings.

Re: swaybar links bad already?

I replaced the bushings not too long ago, they had about 1/16" play up n down When you tighten them down, is there a certain position the sway bar is supposed to be? graspin straws but.....When I did the bushings the GC was on level ground NOT jacked up at all...wrong way? I dunno

Whenever I replace parts I always match them up since about 14 years ago when I was sold a fuel pump for a 350 and I had a 302.... identicle except for the arm is just a little different in length so my float kept running dry really slowly... 15 miles or so...so yeah... the links I put in are the right ones.

Yes I can guarantee they were installed correctly...
The right is much worse than the left ...must be all that high speed cloverleaf ramp racing I do lol...
