You are lucky! I still hav some pics of those vents.
Use a coat hanger, bend a hook on one end(this is what you'll use to unclip them) and use a flashlight to look inside.

You will see three(3) tabs holding them in. Reach in unclip and gently pull on the vents outer part to keep them from recliping. Kinda tricky! Heres the pics, they should help you out.

Vent 1

Vent 2

You mean the POWER mirrors? Manuals dont hav wires to them.
If you mean "power" then the wire is under the top right(driverside) of the door panel. Pop of the triangle part that has the tweeter in it. The wire connects just below the door panels top. You can reach the clip connector with a straight slot screw driver just loosen teh clip and pull the wire up & out.

Re: Air Vent Removal

didnt you say you had an Online manual, because that should show you everything.
I'm not exatly sure how thats removed, so the adjuster in on the triangle piece that would hav a speaker in it??
or is it on the door panel by the door handle/arm rest???

Should hav something screwed onto it holding it in, or a clip underneeth, and cables running up to the mirror.
You just might hav to remove the whole door panel to get to whats holding it on.

Re: Air Vent Removal

The manual i have online only has power mirrors, its the armrest where the cables connect to the knob to posistion the mirror it should come off without taking apart the door but im not sure how its held in there . There are 3 clips but they dont move much so i dont want to break them and on the top of the panel there is a smallcircle piece that looks like that needs to come out to unclip the wires but i cant seem to get it off and i dont want to break it.

Re: Air Vent Removal

Most of the time the cable to the mirror doesnt disconnect. It should pull through just behind where the mirror is.

The part on top should unscrew if I'm not mistaken, but the door panel is probly going to hav to come off to get it back together.

You know I hav Never seen manual mirrors on the 1000'sss of GA I've seen and worked on.
Same with manual crank windows, thats prehistorical stuff thier man !

I did peek in on a chilton but it didnt hav the manual mirror either, as with the cheaper Haynes manual too.

Good Luck, maybe someone knows for sure.

hav a happy easter!

Re: Air Vent Removal

The last manual mirror control I dealt with had a small allen head set screw holding the control to the plastic triangle.
