corvette exhaust

I have a friend with a 99 corvette coupe with a 6-sp manual. He wants to get an exhaust system put in the car but doesn't know what kind to get.....can you help? (i.e. Borla, Magnaflow, Triflow...) He wants it to give it that nice deep throaty sound and of course better performance. Thanks

Corsa Indies for me but they are only noisy when you sock it to it.

REPLY: Tell your friend to be careful cause some make a droan/heavy hum noise at certain rpms like the BandB Route 66 catbacks do. Tell him to listen to each one and preferably test drive a car with them on before he buys.

Re: corvette exhaust

I replaced the exhaust on my 85. We put Flowmasters on it and they sound good. They have the deep sound, but not loud enough where you can't talk in the car.

Re: corvette exhaust

Don't know about the sound of each one, but corsa will give you the best performance upgrade. After all, they're the only ones the legend uses.....
