Like said a noid light to check for injector pulse.
A regular old 12 volt test light or volt/ohm meter will check the power end.
And always check the fuse out on the power end.
What year and engine?
What is it doing or not doing?
Any codes?
Also a scanner will tell/show a rpm and injector pulse signal.
