Grand Prix 2002 GT. Any ideas? I took the four bolts off. I'm pretty sure it's ready to be pulled out, but it's just stuck in there. I tried yelling at it. Am I missing a tool that might help? Thanks Scott

When that happens all you need is a hub puller. It is a special tool that will allow the hub to come off the spindle. You can rent them from places like Autozone.

Did you back off the emergency brake ? It is a drum type inside the rear hub and must be released before the rear drum will come off :grinyes:

I think he means the bearing assembly. If so, smack it hard with a large rubber mallet, or use a 5 pound sledge. You are replacing it anyway so smash that sucker!

Sorry chvckw but I recommend starting a new thread/post on your issue. We prefer that posts over 3 months old are not resurrected so this one will be closed.
