The clunk is revealed

new tires. new rotors. stuffed a towel in the front end like blt suggested. allignment. swaybar. swaybar bushings/linkage. tie-rod adjustments new tie rods. about 200+ hours of tinkering-$900+

Finding out it was the upper & lower ball joints($14 a peice) Priceless.

I'm glad to hear that you figured it out. Unfortunately, you'll probably have a lot more problems. The cheap ball joints are known to break regularly. I would suggest Moog, AC Delco, or TRW replacements. When the ball joints break the control arm hits the pavement...... it's no fun trying to drive a 4,000 pound sled.

TRW, thats what i got. its been awhile since ive been on this forum. but i must say ball joints are just 1 of many things to replace on this truck. leaking/burning oil. leaking tranny fluid(still) entire truck runs like shit. driver door fell off(was hanging). tires shot. oil cooler lines seeping. plugs wires miss fires. maf done o2's gone airfilter toast. no time to fix. were making 3hr trips to see my son and his daddy in bostons children hospital. we all were there for 3 weeks he'll be there a couple more months. daddy is coming home mommy goin back to stay. we gotta work and make that $$$$$$$$$.
