Angry Disabling electric seat belts

Hello,

I'm a native Canadian but I'm enjoying life in Phoenix AZ. I just picked up a very nice 95 escort with GTR rims, I tinted the windows and put in a mid to high end stero. It is my first Escort and I am more than happy with it. They only things I would like to change are:

1) "unplugging" if you will, the electric seatbelts. It they are in the lock position I can still buckle up as they have the safety release. I have looked under the seats and I see a web of wires. I feel pretty confidant hooking up car stereos and what not but his looked a little more confusing. I would like to disconnect the power to the motors.

2) When my door is open there is an annoying constant beeeeeeep.
I had this on my old Caviler and was able to remove this module from under the dash, does anyone know how to do that on a 95 ?

And Finally,

3) The car takes about 4 or 5 seconds or turning over be for it starts. I have changes the plugs, and the wires look new, I tried those fuel injector cleaners but not sure if those work. It is not a huge deal as it always starts, it just sounds bad and is wearing out my starter.

Thanks in advance.

Evan

if you still care as this post is kinda old, to disable your electric seatbelts pull the fuse (the fuse box is under the dash on the drivers side door) quick and easy. there is another bost about the door alarm i replied in. find that and read that as it is late and i dont feel like re-typing it... the starting, well it could be ALOT of things, personaly i would take it to your mechanic and ask him/her to look at it because theres soooo many possibilities.

Disabling electric seat belts

All you have to do to diable the electric seatbelts is open the small circle cover located at the bottom of the side columns between the front and rear doors and using an allen key turn the screw to the off position. ( just make sure that you have the seatbelts motor into the rear position first)
