Thumbs up

I like that! I wouldnt have thought a 98 Corrado looked so nice in red/marron like that. You say VR, you mean VR6 right... because I dont think VW makes a IR or a VR4 <--- impossible since 4s are always inline.

Engine

The engine is from 1998, not the car.

And a IR engine would be a Inline engine [Inline Line]. And no, four cylinder engines are not always, inline, the Impreza's boxer engine has four cylinders.

Yep, Subaru uses flat 4's...my car has one, awesome engine! After looking at tons of inline 4's seeing a flat four is just like "whoa." You can think of it as a 180 degree V4 if you want...but since that isnt a V people usually say horizontally opposed four, or flat four.

Yes, but this is not a Subaru Forum.... and in this forum the only cars which exist are VWs... exept when comparing.

Deakins, I apologize, you are correct, I should have known that... Im rusty on my Corrado knowlege... specifically because when you hear VW, you hear Beetle, Jetta, GTI...

No worries.
Btw. The original Volkswagen was only available with a four-cylinder boxer engine.

Nice Rado. Used to have a 91 G60, burgundy, 17" Racing Hart F-24s (remember these?). VR6 front end conversion, including fenders. Damn, that was a nice car. I'll have to dig up a photo, scan it, and post it (I had it before digital cameras got big).

Of course, now my tastes run Japanese! Hehe! I would never have been able to fit 265/30-18s on my Rado!
