Or you can buy a code reader for under 50 bucks. How many miles do you have on it? Is the Radiator orginal? ever replace the thermostat, water pump? [iV]Kermit 04-07-2006, 11:25 AM I think I've been to Autozone for codes on my 93. I was told it was too old, so since his is an 89 this may not be a good option. trooperII123080 04-13-2006, 09:25 AM Ok good news everybody found out what was wrong with the overheating Autozone sold me the wrong part they gave me a right handed fan that turn clock wise now I don't know about other troopers but my 89' turns counter clock wise there for I needed a left handed fan that fixed everything now if I can only find out about that check eng. light ? thanks guys for the help. marcre 04-13-2006, 01:17 PM There should be a way for you to read the light yourself at home. I am not sure of the procedure to do it, hopefully someone else does know. If not, ask over on 4x4wire.com. marc Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
