I gather from everything i've read that this is the clockspring. I've ordered one. Anyone know how hard the steering wheel is to get off. Do you need the actual steering wheel puller or will a gear puller work?

Book calls for a steering wheel puller, also there's specific instructions related to the entire assembly that need to be followed for safety reasons, the clockspring contact assembly has to come off a certain way also.. if you're not extremely familiar working with airbags and related parts, miight be worth a look at having someone experienced to do the work.. a lot of online car sites will not even entertain questions about airbag repair due to complexity and safety issues.
