Need help on 94 F-150

My girlfriends engagement ring rolled off the dash and down the defrost in the front. it is floating around somewhere inside and it is not in the heater box. sounds like it is still up top but now is not rolling. must be stuck somewhere up there. need suggestions on what to do. if all else fails we may have to take the entire dash out but it is last resort. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not even gonna ask how it got there, or how much trouble youre in. lol I have fished similar objects out using a pair of mechanical fingers. Take a flashlight and shine down thru the windshield, into the defrost vent, and see if you can see it. If its not moving anymore, it may have dropped thru to the floor vent tube(if u r lucky) Check them out, theyre under the radio. If you can see it but cant get it out, you may be able to drop the glove compartment, cut a hole in the ductwork
and use duct tape to put the piece back when you get it out. Good luck.
