PVC valve removal

Hello. I have attempted to remove the pvc valve but i can't seem to let it free. It'll rotate but won't come off...do I just need to yank on it or is there a way to get it off. Thanks!

Re: PVC valve removal

I'm not sure what kind you have. It either just pulls out or you unscrew it.

I think yours is the type that just gets pulled out ( i may be wrong).

It is a tight fit though because there has to be no leaks.

Re: PVC valve removal

it should just pull straight up, no need to screw it.

Re: PVC valve removal

Yep, the threaded ones have a big hex base and no grommet. My 2002 had that. No hex and a rubber grommet = give'er a YANK!
