95 F150 intermittent no run on rear tank

About 4 weeks ago my 95 F150 died while idleing. The truck has two tanks so I switched to the front tank and it actually started and ran OK. Switched back to rear tank and it failed. However after that one day it's been running fine on either tank.

Now today, 4 weeks later, the same thing happened. Died while ideling and will not start back up on rear tank - starts and runs OK on front tank. Also both the day 4 weeks ago and today the outdoor temperature is warmer than usual (about 85 degrees in the DFW area) so I'm thinking maybe the problem is heat related.

I am suspecting the rear fuel pump is going bad or maybe there's a bad connection to the rear fuel pump. Is there something else I should suspect and have any of you seen this problem before?

Thanks,
Tom
