i check mine every saturday. this has to be done. if you go a month without looking at it, you risk burning the engine up. this isn't to deter you. these engines are great. run well. it just takes a little user maintainance.

go into the dealer knowing this. with this knowledge you can either get it replaced free (from an un-associated mechanic!!!) or the price of the work taken off of the sales price.

you can tell this by a wierd revving/ idleing of the engine (watch the tach needle on the dash) and a sucking sound under the hood. go get the codes read (even if the CEL isn't showing on the dashboard--do it! the dealer can clear the light, but the codes store for a little longer in memory and can be read later)
