reverse switch on a 97 NeonMic1980 03-31-2006, 11:12 AM was wondering where it was and is it hard or easy to remove it. I can't find it on my Neon repair manual, I read it's on the tranny or under the shifter case but I have never changed one so any help would be great, thanks das2123 03-31-2006, 12:02 PM was wondering where it was and is it hard or easy to remove it. I can't find it on my Neon repair manual, I read it's on the tranny or under the shifter case but I have never changed one so any help would be great, thanksIt's on the top of your tranny on the driver's side. A 1" deep socket should get it off without any problems. Costs about $12-$15. Mic1980 03-31-2006, 02:13 PM I was hoping it was that easy.thanks das2123 03-31-2006, 02:31 PM I was hoping it was that easy.thanksYeah, toughest part is the damn battery tray :p Mic1980 04-14-2006, 08:01 AM I replaced the reverse switch, the reverse lights came on but now 3 days after they don't work anymore. I'm thinking it's a transmission problem. My transmission slips in 3rd gear and when I put it in park it moves a bit before it locks, would adjusting the kickband help at all? and what is adjusting the kick band do? ~Mic Mic1980 04-14-2006, 10:19 AM I'm gonna make another thread because the title of this one will be miss leading.
