Almost done with mine. Need helpaxekick 03-28-2006, 06:54 PM I've almost got it. I have rebuilt and painted my 22re and I got it in and have almost everything hooked up, but there are two places to hook up hoses that I don't have hoses for. I don't know what to put on them. One is right next to the thermostat housing and points straight up. http://myspace-968.vo.llnwd.net/00607/86/90/607330968_m.jpg The other one is right under the throttle body and points to the engine. http://myspace-839.vo.llnwd.net/00607/93/89/607229839_m.jpg Would anyone mind checking theirs out and helping me figure out where those hook up? I miss my little truck!!! http://myspace-684.vo.llnwd.net/00505/48/66/505636684_m.jpg Thanks for your help. KimMG 03-29-2006, 02:46 AM What year? CA or federal? axekick 03-29-2006, 07:06 AM Good question. It's a 94 model, and I believe federal emissions standards. My best guess is that they are for coolant though, but I guess they could be some kind of big vaccuum lines. corbinwaterski 04-02-2006, 07:31 PM It is a coolant by-pass hose. Check here for reference, THis shows a picture of the hose with the arrows showing coolant flow going away from the thermostat- look closely, it has the words "TO RADIATOR" written in the middle of it: http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-buchanan/93fsm/engine/47descript.pdf I am having a hard time finding the part number for ya though. I'll keep checking and chime back in if I find it. Good luck! axekick 04-04-2006, 10:04 PM Sure enough. You're the man. So I got everything together, and I was turning it over, and oil began spilling onto the floor. Turns out there is a hole behind the motor mount that must be plugged. After removing the motor mount and stripping the hole, then accidentally drilling it too big for the helicoil, I finally got it tapped and plugged. I got the truck started and it idles well. Sounds good. Now I have gasoline spraying out of one of my fuel injectors, a lot of gas. So I guess I'll be replacing the injectors. If I have to replace them, I would like some quality. Do you have any recommendation for injectors. I read of some insulator that I may have to reuse, but that may be my problem. Are there any injector rebuilders that include new insulators? By the way, thanks a lot for your help with the hose. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
