When I turn off the engine, quite often my brake lights remain on. If I pump the brake a few times then they go off. The brake pedal appears to stick. When the lights stay on though, of course they drain my battery. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

It is the brake light switch on the brake pedal.
