problems with pictures

this is probably a stupid question but anyway....... i use photo bucket 2 keep all my pictures n it sez any pic bigger than 50 kb is resized n it looks all crap. i got these good pics of my cars but they r big so how can i fix this problem? btw they r jpeg. PLEAZ HELP!!!!!! THANX!!!!!!!!!!

Photobucket tells me bigger than 500kb will be resized. I take pictures at 2300x1700 (4.1mp), and they are about 1600k to start, and I reduce them to about 50% for posting on message boards like this, and that shrinks the size to about 130kb, which is fine for Photobucket.

Just open the picture with a program like paint and reduce the size (height & width) until the size (file size in kb) works for you.

i luv drift, please type properly and coherently, AF guidelines asks that you use a proper standard of English, not some incoherent AIM lingo which only half of us care to understand.

Using most photo editing software you can resample the image to lower the resolution while leaving the dimensions the same. Hope this helps!
