Just upgraded Intake

1997 Passat GLX
I just got done..just in time for it to be dark, haha. Ill have a better picture when i have more light. I removed the stock air intake, whole box and all that. I installed a proformance air filter on the end of the stock pipe. Now ill admit, Im no expert, and imm sure im probablly not doing something right. there was a second tube coming out of the top of the stock filter box, I think it goes to the AC/heater system? Anyway, i didnt have a replacement filter for that, so i kinda rigged up a temporary filter out of some dryer sheets and duct tape. haha.

If anyone can tell me what I need to do on top of what I just said, Id really appreciate any help.

Also, can anyone tell me where I can score some decently priced replacment spark plug wires?

Thanks
