4.9L problems... PLEASE HELP ME!!

Well there are alot of problems!, My 1985 F-250 4.9L straight six, is constaintly going through antifreeze, and there is alot of oil and white grease light stuff in the air filter area, second my truck has been slowly losing power and I now have to rev, it out before I shift because it is so bogged down, I thought maybe a head gasket but I don't have a clue.

When you replace the head gasket clean the head, valve cover and oil cap. Then replace the little filter in breather assembly

Better run a compression test first find where your losing presure check for cracks in head or block or worpage on head before just slapping a head gasket in it

Re: 4.9L problems... PLEASE HELP ME!!

The used engine we put in runs fine, but now the throttle body seems to be acting up. It will start and run fine, but sometimes it bogs down, and seems like the float is sticking, then after a mile or two, it runs fine again. My son drives this truck so it is getting run pretty hard, I'm sure. Any suggestions?
