Guys it has 160k ,there is no spark at coil ,i have haynes manual, but it dont tell much, but at least i can see that i have to check distr., ecm,igniter,and ignition coil. distribuitor has two wires connector with 172ohms across so im thinking it is ok, ign.coil resistance checks ok too . ecm and igniter thats what is left, i also check power to coil and igniter =ok

if any knows how to check this parts i will apreciate your help!!!!....

sorry guys i forgot to tell that i hooked a scanner to it and it has no codes ,and one more question do they have a crank sensor?

Download and use the generation 4 manual posted at the top of this forum. It should give test procedures. It is for a 94, but should work for your 96.
