It's true fiberglass is not as flexible as urethane, but here's the problem... where are you going to get a nice looking urethane kit for the neon? Sure there's the xenon and WW kits.... but geez let's have some variety here... i personally don't like either kit... they are really ugly to me. Sorry didn't mean to offend anyone.. If you go fiberglass you have to be very careful.. .bumps... scratches... etc... hard flexing will damage the kit. I've had my Neon for 5 years now and I don't even have a scratch on her... so i think it's how you take care of your baby.... in selecting which kit to put on her.

Oh yes... My baby. ;)
I will be ordering my kit here soon... *next payday* And I would LOVE to get a eurathane kit, but from where!? And shawty gyrl has a point 'bout variety. ...Raise your hand if you have a xenon or WW! :finger: :flipa: See all the hands that raise? LoL! Well on a serious note, browse around a lot. Just because you've got the money, hold it and gain a couple cents intrest on it while you find the perfect kit for you. If you're hard on ya honey, well get eurathane, but if you treat it lyke she's a queen... Fiberglass should be alright.
Me personally, I'm easy on my lady. She's gon' be aight with fiberglass, but meanwhile until my next paycheck, I'm browsin' around finding the best priced, best looking, and most durable kits on the market. So dnkygirl, holla at me if you know of any companies that meet them 3 prerequisites. :)

What's Up M dawg... ;o) hum... pricing.. everybody wants an arm and some blood right now. What kit are you interested in picking up? Here are some links to some places i've been looking at:

www.pro-kits.com
www.asylumms.com

The thing that's killing me on kits is the cost of shipping.. you have to configure that into the total price. So you might be getting a deal until you see the cost of shipping.... I wish that there were some place local that sold them... but that's not even an option. Dallas is like the desert when it comes to car customization. Geez i had to call all over Dallas just to get a decent price quote on a paint job for my spoiler.

YES! Tha 'Cuda hood! I'm goin' with the challenger hood... Same thing pending on the year. I've (me and pops) got a '72 Challenger, 340ci, .030 ob, 4 barrel, 202 cam, etc. You know I gotsta rock tha engine right! LoL! Its richard petty blue (sky blue for all the non-race fans! haha) Anywho... I'm really debatin' to go with the same scheme as that.
Back to subject... Get carried away with tha Challenger!
I'm gettin' Z3 fenders, Challenger hood (help me out with finding one, I seen one in Mopar Magazine before tho, but need more sources), Agressor or Intruder kit, T2 or T1 wing, a killer paint job, and that pretty much wrapz up my exterior. Itz gon' be hot. I'ma be a college student next year and wont be workin', so I'm workin' 60+ hourz weekly now, so I'm warnin' yall now, in a month or so my body work will be done! Haha!
So if you know of any cheap Z3's, Body Kits, hoods, etc, hook a fanatic up please! I'll do tha same!

Oh, and btw, Pro-kits has the intruder for $550 + $100! Thats $650! Not bad, not bad, not bad for a complete kit!

ok ...what's a cuda hood? Got any pics of it? Hoods are limited too for the neon. I want the predator but i have a dohc engine.. so it won't fit. Anyone seen a predator hood for the dohc engine?

I included a pic of my challenger in progress... Great pic of the hood. Thats the same thing as the 'Cuda hood. I'ma get one for my car, a SOHC, but I'll definitely look into my supplier 'bout a DOHC hood.
Which is the predator hood? The 6-vented hood? I love that hood!
