Fuses? Please help!

Someone rearended my 1999 Kia Sportage EX a few weeks ago. It stayed in the shop for a week and a half, and when I picked it up, I noticed that the light that indicates the back door is open was on. I took it back and they said the latch needed to be replaced. I'm currently waiting for the part to come in.

In the meantime, the light staying on is killing my battery! I can't find the fuse for that particular light to remove in hopes of saving my battery. This sucks, I can't even go anywhere without having to call someone to give me a jump. It's a 5-speed, and I can usually get it push started with help, but it's so dead that that's not even working.

Does anyone know where I can find this mysterious back door light fuse? Thanks a bunch!

There is a 10 amp room lamp fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box. You will be without all interior lights if you pull it.

I question the body shops theory of the switch being the culprit. The wiring to the switch may be shorted to ground due to the collision.
