What would be the best metal tubing to fab a brush guard?

I am looking at custom making a brush guard for the front of my truck and was wondering what stock would be the right strength for what I am doing. What i.d., o.d.?

Thanks,
Scott

If you are looking for something heavy duty, go with 2" (2 3/8" O.D.) or
2 1/2" (2 7/8" O.D.) schedule 40 pipe. If thats too overkill, move down to schedule 20 or schedule 10. Good luck.
