I have a 1972 Super Beetle and Im having oil problems. My car is dripping oils under both sides of the car. My muffler is also spitting out oil. Where could the problem? What should I do? I got the valve covers changed. And i got an oil change with a new oil filter and gaskets on both. Thanx for any help.

If the oil is still dripping off of the engine with new valve cover gaskets, I'd look at the oil cooler grommets. They are what seals the oil cooler to the block. You'll have to remove the engine to do this. Might as well replace the clutch, throw-out bearing, and rear (front) oil seal at the same time.

If you're spitting oil out of the muffler (tail pipes) you either have a rusted out muffler where oil is seeping in, or bad valve guides and/or seals.
